Elyzabeth – It’s lovely to connect with you through our publisher Evernight Publishing and I’m pleased to hear you have a new release for your readers to enjoy. But before we discover more about Dark Heart, here are a few questions that will hopefully give your readers and followers an insight into some of the things that matter to you.
Arabella: Are there any organisations, writing, or reader groups, you belong to? And, how do they support or help you when creating a romantic novel?
Elyzabeth: I belong to several writing and reader groups
on Facebook and they’re all great in their individual ways. The best support is
from my own group, Elyzabeth’s Dreamers. Their presence and enthusiasm keeps
me going.
Arabella: Where do you
read? Sofa or bed or ____?
Elyzabeth: Sofa, bed, and bus. I have a long commute to
my day job, so I take advantage of the time to read or write.
Arabella: In your latest release, Dark Heart, who is your favourite character and why?
Elyzabeth: My hero, Daryl Jones, is my favorite
character in Dark Heart. He’s gone through a lot, and it shows in his
personality, but at the same time, he hasn’t given up.
Arabella: When writing
a novel, how do you work? Are you a plotter or pantser?
Elyzabeth: 50/50?
I start off being a pantser, just with a basic scene but after that I
make an outline of how I’d like the story to go. Of course, in the end,
characters rule and things never follow the plan the way they should.
Arabella: Which would
you prefer to do?
1)
Spend
a morning vigorously working out at the gym

Be
pampered from head to toe at the spa and beauty salon
3)
Indulge
and pile on the pounds with a romantic dinner for two?
Elyzabeth: Indulge and pile on the pounds with a
romantic dinner for two!
Arabella: Which of the following would you rather wear?
1)
Beach
shorts and top
2)
A
long evening skirt and blouse
3)
Pyjamas
and slippers
Elyzabeth: Pyjamas and slippers (It’s actually what I’m
wearing now. LOL)
Arabella: We all have a long list of books we keep meaning to read but never have the time for --- which book is a must read for you this season?
Elyzabeth: Great question. I have to choose one? I
think, I’d go with the Reluctant Bride - Anthology, since it has a lot of great
stories.
Arabella: What about your future plans? Any books or series in the making?
Elyzabeth:
Yes! I’m planning to write book two in
the Shadow Shifters books (you can find the first story as part of the
Romancing the Shifter anthology which is only available until October 16th).
I’m also looking to republish one of my very first stories, a very short
vampire tale.
